Practice analytics & KPI execution

Know what every office is actually producing.

Dion Insights connects to your practice-management system and turns it into the numbers you run the business on — production, collections, AR, recare and provider performance — for a single practice or a group of fifty.

Access is provisioned by invitation — talk to your Dion contact to get started.

How it works

From raw PMS data to a number you can act on

01

Connect

Link each office's practice-management system, plus QuickBooks and bank feeds. Invited practices connect their own accounts — you never handle their credentials.

02

Reconcile

Figures are pulled on a schedule and tied out against what the PMS reported as collected. Exceptions surface instead of hiding inside a monthly spreadsheet.

03

Act

Set targets per KPI, watch movement against the onboarding baseline, and work a prioritised action list with the expected annual impact of each item.

What you get

Everything a group needs to run on its own numbers

KPIs that reconcile

Production, collections, AR aging, case acceptance and recare pulled straight from your PMS on a schedule — not retyped into a spreadsheet each month.

Every office, one view

Connect each location separately and compare them side by side. Group-level rollups sit alongside per-office drill-downs.

Goals and action plans

Set targets per KPI, track movement against the baseline captured at onboarding, and work a prioritised action list with expected annual impact.

Financials that tie out

QuickBooks and bank connections feed a general ledger, EBITDA and overhead view, budget-vs-actual, and reconciliation with exception tracking.

Diligence for acquisitions

Invite a target practice to connect its own accounts. Build a quality-of-earnings view from source data the seller grants directly — you never handle their credentials.

Built for PHI

Per-tenant isolation enforced in the data layer and in Postgres row-level security, encrypted credentials, an append-only audit trail, and defined retention and disposal.

Accounts

Company and office logins

A group practice is not one audience. The owner needs the whole picture; an office manager needs their own office and should not see the rest. Dion Insights makes that a property of the account, not a reporting convention.

Company

Full access

For owners, DSO operators and group finance

  • Every office, with group rollups and side-by-side comparison
  • Company financials — ledger, EBITDA, budget vs. actual, AR & AP
  • Payroll, supply and acquisition modelling
  • Registers offices and invites the people who work in them

Office

Scoped

For the manager or lead at one location

  • Their own office's production, collections, AR, recare, provider summary and schedule
  • The goals and action plans assigned to that office
  • Cannot see sibling offices, group rollups, company financials, or the group-wide savings analysis
  • Read-only — company-level changes stay with company accounts

The office boundary is enforced where the data is read, not just hidden in the interface: an office login is bound to one location and every query is filtered to it, with Postgres row-level security as a second, independent check.

Integrations

Connects to what you already run

Practice management

  • CareStack
  • Open Dental
  • Dentrix
  • Eaglesoft
  • Planet DDS

Multi-location accounts connect each office separately, so figures attribute to the right site.

Finance

  • QuickBooks Online
  • Bank & card feeds via Plaid

Feeds the ledger, overhead and EBITDA views, and reconciliation against what the PMS reported as collected.

Security

Handling clinical and financial data

Isolation

Every row belongs to exactly one practice. Scope is enforced in the data layer and again by Postgres row-level security.

Credentials

PMS and finance credentials are encrypted at rest and decrypted server-side only. Invited practices connect their own accounts directly.

Accountability

An append-only audit trail records access and changes, including who was invited, by whom, and to which office.

See the privacy notice for how data is collected, retained and disposed of.
